Comeback photos

Hello everybody and Happy Halloween!!!! Hope you are enjoying all things spooky and the candy!

Today I wanted to make a blog post about all the photos I took this month, after coming back from my long doll hiatus. I wasn’t expecting to take this many, but I had fun in every single shoot.

But first, I want to thank everyone for coming back to my blog after all this time with no new updates and using your time to comment, you are so great!~ I hope I can keep up the energy for dolls for a long time, but if not, I’ll at least make sure I use it all up while it last!

Ruruko
First photo I took was of Ruruko. I was already planning a photoshoot with Nina to do that day, but I had some extra time that morning so I just went to my backyard with Ruruko and see what I could make.

I took a few shots I liked of her, so that was nice and it reminded me how fun dolls can be.

Nina

Next one was Nina, this time for real. I wanted to make some fashionable photos of her in that nifty wall I found near a park. My brother and my sister went with me since that part of the neighborhood isn’t that safe nowadays. I’m glad I was able to take a nice shot of Nina here.

Dolls are fun but so are their miniature props! So for this shoot I just set up a simple diorama to take a few shots from above. They turned out very nice, considering I was balancing everything in a tower of boxes in my bed while I was standing in a stool at the side trying to take photos.

And of course, Mercedes and her cuteness came to the rescue one weekend. This was a very simple shot, but I like it nonetheless. I think the “pat pat” I photoshopped on it makes it extra cute.

Sunny day

Were you missing some Pure Neemo action? I was! So my sister and I went to a park nearby near sunset time to try to capture some of that nice lighting. Did we succeed?

Going out with friends

And after so long with no new pictures, I had to attempt a group shot again. Well, a duo, at least. I swear you’ll see this bike again and again in the future, I just love it. From this shoot I also got some nice portraits for my Instagram.

One day Sahra volunteered to a photo using the ears headband I made. She looks so cute in pink (and it’s also my favorite color), though I feel the clothes don’t match the headband haha. Both Sahra and the clothes she’s wearing were a gift from Alasse, I love them so much! The sofa was a gift from another friend and it’s actually a jewelry box.

And that leaves us with the last photo of the month, a Halloween themed one. I don’t have any costumes nor did I want to make one so I decided that Nina, being the fashion blogger that She is, was bound to post her Halloween inspired outfit of the day. Style all around. Do you like her bag??? Next week’s blog post will be a tutorial on how to make it, hope you are interested!

So what do you think about this month’s photos? It feels like I pretty much made up for many months of none lol. I’m just happy I got to post regularly both here and Instagram for this month.

Hope you have a very nice and spooky weekend!

I love your photos from October! ^__^ I like them all, tough I must say if I would have to pick a favourite it would be your Ruruko at the moment. 😀 I’m sure I’ll switch to somebody else next time. XD Waiting for the tutorial for Nina’s bag, it’s so cute and the owl – gosh I really like owls a lot!

I’m glad you liked the photos!!!! To be honest ruruko ones are my least favorite for now hahaha, but she’s a cutie~ I like her face 🙂
I also hop from doll to doll when picking favorites, but I’m in love with my Today’s 1610 momoko the most.
      Owls are the best!

Your photos are so beautiful! You did a good job with the flat lay photos. I’m a big fan of Nina so her outfits draw my attention immediately. Her bag, perhaps because of this blue flower, made me think of Moi-meme-Moitie. 🙂 And the bike is really great so I don’t mind seeing it again.

The flat lay are some of my favorite photos I’ve taken, I want to try it again later 😀
I’m so happy you liked the photos. You are right, the bag it has a subtle Moi meme Moitie feel to it, because of the blue! haven’t heard that name in so many years! 😮 I was such a Malice Mizer fan back in the day, now I feel old haha.
      Thanks for your comment <3

    Hi Alejandra!
Wonderful to see you posting so many terrific photos, but I must admit I would love to see more of your CCS girl 17SS Ruruko (2017), she is gorgeous. Could you at some point do a review of this doll, or if you have done already, please send me a link.
    Big Hugs,

Are you considering getting a ruruko yourself? I must say they are very pretty!!! I can make a review for you no problem! In the meantime, you can check the box opening. She is not perfect (what doll is really), since I was a bit disappointed with her hair, but I don’t think the same problem applies to all rurukos. The box opening will give you an idea on what to expect: http://fantasywoods.net/ccs-girl-17ss-ruruko/
I’m glad you liked the photos~

What a dumb bunny I am, I actually loved her when you posted your box opening, but I never followed up on her (see the message on your post) perhaps I was more focused on another doll at the time. But thank you for the link, I have actually ordered a Ruruko now, but different to yours…she was the cheapest one I could find. I’m sure I will be happy with her just the same. Are you still disappointed with the hair?

Can’t blame you for not remembering, it was over a year ago and then I never posted bout her until now. I can’t wait to see your ruruko! CCS dolls are more expensive than other petworks lineup, so I paid quite a bit of money on her, hence the disappointment. But to be honest, I didn’t even think about her hair when I took her out for photos, and she hasn’t lost a single hair so I guess that’s good. I know she has little hair to keep that haircut straight down, if not she would look more like my Pure neemo Maya. And I feel ruruko hair is higher quality than Pure Neemo’s too.
Hope you will love your ruruko! Sometimes I wanna sell mine cuz she’s so different from the rest of my dolls, but then she’s so cute I don’t know what to do hahaha. She is gorgeous, truly.

I love Nina so much. She’s my favourite of your 1/6 scale dolls. That big hair, that sweet face and she rocks anything she wears. So many photos to oogle over. They all turned out so well. It comes through in the photos that you had a lot of fun taking them and I am so glad you are finding joy again in your dolls. Sometimes, a long break is good for a hobby. And yes, that bike is super awesome. I love it. And it seems to be such a perfect scale for the Momoko dolls.

(I pre-ordered the new Momoko Girl, Escape Flight!)

And definitely sign me up as interested for the bag tutorial. You and I must be on the same wavelength again because I was thinking my dolls needed more bags and had been looking at bag tutorials!

I’m so glad you love Nina the best, she’s my favorite too but on IG she’s always the one to get the least likes haha. Not that it matters, but I find it funny. She seems to look great in whatever I’ve tried with her too, from fashionable items to cute, to dark clothes, I like it all! I’m glad she’s a fashion blogger, she can try it all out.
Congrats on the new momoko girl, she’s very pretty! I saw the pink haired momoko you mentioned the other time on amiami, but as you know I can’t go buying any dolls. Hopefully next year I’ll find some momoko and pure neemo release to my liking.
Bag tutorial is already done and scheduled to appear on the blog on november 6th 🙂 I’m glad I took the photos of the process while trying it out, so I could make a tutorial in case it worked. I feel my dolls need more bags, shoes, and accessories overall. I’d love to get some glasses for them, both sunglasses and reading ones, that would look super nice.

I’m glad you like that particular photo!! I wasn’t too sure at first and it was a hard one to take, the sun was not letting me see what was going on in the camera viewfinder.
I love bags too 😀 miniature and real ones

I know, I told you this already, but damn, I always love your Momoko pics XD I don't know if it's because you really love your Momoko girls, but those photos are often what I like best from you. Great job!

Aw thanks!! And thanks for passing by :D!!! I enjoy taking photos of Momokos a lot, I’m glad you like them so much! I think that since they are light and easy to carry it’s just easier for me to grab one and go shooting somewhere near.
